It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene Margaret Tunis-Brown in Vineland, New Jersey, born in Palmyra, Virginia, who passed away on August 22, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her father Issac Coles; her children, Isaac Tunis, Michael Tunis, Irene Tunis-Valentine and Glinda Corbin; her grandchildren, Elmer Walter Valentine II (Starr), Aquawn Tunis, Hill, LaShelle Valentine, Shetia Tunis and Wynn (Jordan); her great grandchildren, Joseph Goetaski, Gavin Jeipel, Quinton Valentine, Andrew Howard Ross and Juilen Valentine; her son Edwin Tunis Jr.; her siblings, Helena Coles Robinson and Hershel Pitts; and her husbands, Edwin A. Tunis, Sr. and Rev. George Hall Brown.
