He is survived by: his grandchildren, Oliver and Amelia Dwight; his wife Loida Lagares (Cordero); his sons, Nelson Lagares (Monica Dwight-Lagares) and Oliver (Amelia Dwight); his mother-in-law Maria Josefa Torres; and his siblings, Pedro Juan Lagares, Orlando Lagares, Reynaldo Lagares, Miguel Lagares, Osvaldo Lagares, Ramon Lagares, Jesus Lagares, Domingo Lagares, Rita Marie Androver, Carmen Anna Collazo, Adela Lagares, Milagros Lagares and Luz Minerva Reyes. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
