He is survived by: his daughter Nancy; his son-in-law Kenneth Durkin; his son Steven Dondero (Gregory Whitmire); his grandchildren, Caroline and Patrick Durkin; his sister Agnes; and his brother-in-law Robert Thompson. He is also survived by his nieces, nephew and cousins.
