She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Guillermo Oquendo; her parents, Basilio Torres and Fabiana Collazo; her daughters, Ada Cruz and Marta Gonzalez (Javier Gonzalez); her close friend Irene Rodriguez; her grandchildren, Sheinna Cruz, Peter Smith Jr., Tatiana Lancara and Nathalie Lancara; her great grandchildren, Jazlynn Cruz, Londyn Almodovar, Ariah Almodovar and Saliyah Smith; and her siblings, Milagros Torres, Ana Luisa Torres, Minerva Torres, Luis Torres and Felix Torres.
