He is survived by: his mother Beatrice String (late Furman String Jr.); his wife Kristin String; his sons, Anthony String (Shannon), David String Jr. and Nick String (Maria); his siblings, Bud String (Lisa), Ed String (Lisa) and Kimberly Raiser (Geoffrey); his grandchildren, Anthony Jr., Aubrey, Madelyn, Matthew and Maverick; and his cousins, Sherry Pecsi (Mark), Tina Torino (Victor), Ed Daisey (Kristi), Kelli Dilger (Chuck), Ronald String Jr., Joe Novak (Tami) and John Novak (Karen). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home (2755 S Lincoln Ave, Vineland, NJ 08361). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
