He is survived by: his close friend Ralph; his wife Linda Perez; his children, Melissa Gurdgiel (Jason) and Beny Perez Jr.; his grandsons, Gilbert Torres Jr. of Vineland and Mason Gurdgiel of Vineland; and his siblings, Junior Perez Sr. (Sandy), Alfred Perez (Wendy) of Vineland, Frank Perez (Lynn) of Glassboro, NJ., Marta Thompson (Bob), Maria Grosso (Tony) of Vineland and Margarita Bennett (Ron) of Deerfield, NJ.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Viewing was held on Friday, September 13th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Chestnut Assembly of God Church (2554 E Chestnut Ave, Vineland, NJ 08361). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 13th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
