He is survived by: his wife Audrey; his children, Edward Monroe (Lee), Karen Monroe and Denise Newman; his grandchildren, Thayne (Kelsey), Colin and Christian; his great grandchildren, Aaliyah and Madelyn; and his sisters, Carole Monroe and Virginia Jenkins.
