She was predeceased by: her husband George L. Burns, Sr.; and her son George L. Burns, Jr.. She is survived by: her daughter Lori McEwing (Brian); and her grandchildren, Brian McEwing (Jodie), Ian McEwing (Kate), Shawn Burns (Laura) and Morgan Eveland (Bryan). She is also survived by many great-grandchildren.

She loved dancing with her brothers and family and friends, which she did until Parkinson's Disease robbed her of the ability.
