He was predeceased by: his former wife Helene E. Maxwell; and his brothers, Joseph, Jr. and James P. Maxwell. He is survived by: his wife Louise (Kerr); his children, Margaret M. Walter (Mark), Joseph T. (Lorleen) and Cornelius J., Jr. (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Jacob, Jonathan, Brittany, Thomas and Bridget; and his sister Margaret Dovell. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
