He was predeceased by: his parents, Hazel Rowand and W. Grant Rowand; and his brothers, W. Grant Rowand, Jr. and Paul Rowand. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Rowand. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to either the Funny Farm Animal Rescue and Sanctuary at 6908 Railroad Blvd., Mays Landing 08330 or the Family Dogs New Life Shelter at 9101 SE Stanley Ave., Portland OR 97206 would be appreciated.
