He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy Santarsiero; and his sister Winifred Corbacho. He is survived by: his children, Thomas W. Santarsiero, Cynthia Santarsiero (Traci Campbell) and Steven Santarsiero (Ronni Fuchs); his grandchildren, Victoria, Antonia, Nancy, Billy and John; his significant other Rose DelPresto; and his daughter-in-law Karen Monaco.
