He is survived by: his friends, Reavis, McGrath, Jaworski, Norton, Rose and Fulbright; his wife Elizabeth Lyons (Budgy); his children, Elizabeth Cunningham (Liz), Caroline Cunningham Brackett (Cory) and Richard James Cunningham III (Eva); his grandchildren, Olivia, Isabelle Herring, Quinn and Sage Cunningham; his sister Dorothy Cunningham Currie; and his siblings-in-law, Catherine Patricia Lyons, Ursula Dunn Mell (Rissy), Virginia Lyons Ohlmuller (Ginna), Mary Jane Bittle Lyons and Ray Ohlmuller. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
