He was predeceased by: his wife Marie E. Heaslip; and his son Robert. He is survived by: his children, Richard J. Heaslip (Julia), Kenneth Heaslip (Debra), Thomas Heaslip (Catherine) and Lauren Orsini (Anthony); and his sister Catherine Singler.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Verona Park Conservancy in his memory would be appreciated.
