He was predeceased by: his wife Judith Durant; his daughter Lisa Z. Ryden; and his siblings, Frank, Nikki DeAngelis, Mary Mastrodomenico, Leonora Cirello, Antionette Caniano and Jenni Conti.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Kathryn Kottke (Dane), Cara Zichelli and Michael P. Zichelli, III (Lauren); his grandchildren, Christian Eikeland Kottke (Jeslyn), Hannah Kottke Greeley (Alec), Ingrid Kottke, Samuel Zichelli and Andrew Zichelli; his son-in-law William D. Ryden, II; and his brother Butch. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and "adopted" children.
