He was predeceased by: his parents, Angelo Melia and Tessie Melia; and his siblings, Angelo, Ralph, Robert Melia, Mary Pezzino and Eva Pezzino.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Melia; his children, Michael, Joanne, Rick and Kenneth Melia; his granddaughters, Jessica Solek, Renee Buono and Elise Melia; his great grandchildren, Jaiden Solek, Olivia Buono, Christian Buono and Natalie Buono; and his sister Josephine McGeady.
