She is survived by: her parents, Rodrigo Ayala and Marcia Egüez; her husband Carlos A. Cortes; her children, Camila and Isabella Cortes; and her siblings, María Elena Ayala (Santiago Córdova) and María Belén Ayala (Sebastián Goyes).
Visitation was held on Monday, October 14th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Shook's Cedar Grove Funeral Home (486 Pompton Ave, Cedar Grove, NJ 07009). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, October 15th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Crossing Church (222 Laurel Ave, Livingston, NJ 07039).
