It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Deacon John Paul DeGuardi of Verona, New Jersey, born in New York, New York, who passed away on January 24, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Katherine; and his siblings, Paul, Andrew and Grace.

He is survived by: his brother John; his wife Antoinette; his children, Mary Federowicz (Steve), John (Melanie), Elizabeth Sniatkowski (Jay) and Christina (David Rayner); his grandchildren, Catherine Young (Brian), Therese, Stephen, Alex, Johnny, Maria, Luke, Julianne and Eliza; his great grandchildren, Brian, Clara, Noelle and Nicholas; his siblings-in-law, Paul and Doris Badamo; and his caregivers, Tracy, Enid, Sonia, Michalea, Majlinda, Beverly, Debbie and Deacon Paul.

In lieu of flowers the DeGuardi family respectfully requested donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital and Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Outreach.
