With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carolyn DeLia of Verona, New Jersey, born in Newark, New Jersey, who passed away on May 23, 2024 at the age of 79. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Carolyn DeLia to pay them a last tribute.

In the sacred silence of farewell, Carolyn is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Fabrizio (DeFronzo) and P. Anthony Fabrizio; her husband Louis Gerald DeLia; and her son Jeffrey Louis DeLia. She is survived by: her brother Edmund Fabrizio (Rosanne Fabrizio); and her grandchildren, Audrey DeLia and Mason DeLia. She is also survived by her loving nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in Carole's memory.

I will forever remember her sweet smile and gentle nature which clothed an indomitable spirit. She suffered great loss but was determined to live with kindness and love as a tribute to those who went before her (especially her son). Know that she made a hugely positive difference to the adults and students who were fortunate enough to know her and live in the circle of her light”
