He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Peter Cooney and Mary Cooney (Walsh); his brother James Cooney; his children, Edward J Cooney and Linda Small (Tim); and his grandsons, Jason, Corey, Tyler Small of Hardyston and Kenneth Cooney of Steamboat, CO.. He was also cherished by 2 great grandchildren and 2 nephews and one niece.
