She was predeceased by: her father Walter Lum; her brother Walter Lum; and her son Scott Patrick Thompson. She is survived by: her husband Major Richard P. Thompson; her son Richard P. Thompson II (Brandy) of Vernon; and her grandchildren, Allison, Hannah Thompson and Katrina Nielsen.
