He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Garofalo and Carmella Garofalo; his brother Rosario Garofalo; his sister-in-law Patricia Garofalo; his nephew Rosario Garofalo, Jr.; and his stepson Louis Stellato.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann; his children, Stacy Sanchez (Victor) and Brian Garofalo; his stepsons, David Stellato (Dawn) and Daniel Stellato (Dana); and his niece Josephine Garofalo. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Joseph's memory to Memorial Sloan Kettering would be greatly appreciated by the family.
