We are sad to announce that on November 9, 2024, at the age of 81, Duane Myron Paul of Vernon, New Jersey, born in Washington, District of Columbia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Duane Sr. Paul and Anna Paul (McCullum); his siblings, Charles Paul, Doug Paul and Charlotte Paul; and his grandson Nicholas Liggieri.

He is survived by: his sister Diane Ladner (Chuck) of Newtown Square, PA; his significant other Pam Paul of Vernon; his children, Duane S. Paul (Jane) of Perrysburg, OH, Michael Paul (Christine) of Vernon, Debbie Schell (Alan) of Glenwood, Lisa Perri (Bob) of Hamburg and Tara DiMatteo (Franco) of Vernon; and his grandchildren, Jessica Ward (Micah), Alexis Paul, Daniel Riedl (Sydney), Samantha Zajdel (Zachary), Madison Paul, Alyssa Paul and Jacalyn Riedl.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Glenwood Baptist Church (1863 County Rd 565, Glenwood, NJ 07418).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Wounded Warrior Project or the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), where Duane Jr. served on the board.

He was passionate about helping others, justice and tried hard to help right any wrong. He worked so hard all his life. We knew him as a true gentleman, and loved him as a good friend.
