He was predeceased by: his mother Suzanne Monzo (Ohrin). He is survived by: his father Alvan F. Sr. Monzo of Glenwood; his wife Carol Monzo (Peter); his son Joseph (Stephanie Monzo); his grandchild Parker of Toms River; his children, Dan Monzo of Glenwood and Sophia Bishop of Bloomfield; his sister Susan M. Malanche (Bill) of Oak Ridge; his parents-in-law, Eric and Sharon Peter of Manahawkin; his siblings-in-law, John Peter, Michael Peter and Helen (George Smithson) of Manahawkin; his nephews, Michael Peter, George Smithson and Eric Smithson of Manahawkin; and his niece Emily Hoefling.
