We are sad to announce that on November 12, 2024, at the age of 71, Rick A. Bloom of Ventnor City, New Jersey, born in Kenton, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Rick had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Rick may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He is survived by: his wife Ines Mejia; his daughters, Valerie Bloom and Ana Maria O'Malley; his son-in-law Jonathan O'Malley; his granddaughters, Isabel Alexis O'Malley and Valerie Michele O'Malley; and his brothers, Joseph, Gary and Dennis. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
Viewing was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. James Church (6415 Atlantic Ave, Ventnor City, NJ 08406). A Mass was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to a local Veterans organization of your choice.
