She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Pauline Umberger and Mervin Umberger; her husband John Verderosa; her children, John (Marie), James (Miyoung), Patrick, Joseph (Gina) and Candace (Edwin Roworth); and her brothers, Col. John Umberger (Lynda) of Ocala and Christian Umberger of Reno, Nevada.. She was also cherished by nine grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.
