With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Chris John Sooy Sr. of Ventnor City, New Jersey, born in Atlantic City, New Jersey, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Chris John left this world on March 17, 2025 at the age of 73, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his sisters, Karen and Allison Auble; and his parents, Albert Sooy and Jeanne D. Sooy. He is survived by: his sons, CJ Sooy and Faron Sooy.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 9:00 AM at the St. James Church (6415 Atlantic Ave, Ventnor City, NJ 08406). A Mass was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
