He was predeceased by: his parents, Annie Ward Mathews and William Mathews; and his wife Susan Mathews. He is survived by: his daughter Ernestine M. Walker; his siblings, Walter Mathews and Elizabeth Slade; and his grandchildren, Tyrone G. Tutt Jr. and Lauren Tutt-Boyd (John). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
