It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nicholas Makris of Upper Saddle River, New Jersey, who passed away on September 4, 2023, at the age of 104, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Zoe; his children, Maria Alexiades (Andrew), Phyllis Rucker (John), Angelo Makris (Tamara) and James Makris (Tena); and his grandchildren, Zoe Rucker, Nickita Alexiades, Evangeline Makris, Alexandra Rucker, Nicholas Rucker, Nicolette Makris, Nicholas A. Makris, Ava Makris, Nicholas J. Makris and James Makris.
