He was predeceased by: his brother David Miao; and his parents, Lo Toung Miao and Yung Lan Tung Miao. He is survived by: his spouse Yuling Miao (Wang); his children, Louis Miao (Michele) and Eugenia Miao Pisarczyk (Ted); his grandchildren, Lin, Emma, Louisa Miao, Teddy Mark and Maximus Pisarczyk; and his sibling Feng-Ping Miao.
