He was predeceased by: his parent Van Legg; his former wife Joan Legg; and his siblings, Tommy, Willard, Vic, Jimmy and Malley.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia A. Legg; his children, Terri Foster (Freddie), Lisa Cagle, Carl Ballentine (Barb) and Walt Ballentine Sr.; his sister Patty Louise Legg Tyler; his grandchildren, Barry Legg (Jenna), Dallas Willadsen (Mike), Brandy Foster, Nicole Foster, Nichole Weems (Scott), Kristin Ballentine, Darrian Cagle, Cameron Cagle (Danae), Megan Ballentine, Walt Ballentine II and Walt Ballentine III; and his great grandchildren, Cody, Jacob, Mason, Cheyenne, Tori and Savannah. He is also survived by seven sisters in law; one brother in law; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
