Lorraine Della Volpe Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lorraine Della Volpe of Upper Montclair, New Jersey, born in Shenandoah, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 31, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Matthew (Helen Lescavage); and her brother William Lescavage (Josephine). She is survived by: her mother NJ; her husband Frank "Babe" Della Volpe; her children, Wayne Della Volpe (Linda) and Lisa Dennin (Timothy); her brother Thomas Lescavage (Betty); her grandchildren, Tyler Dennin (Sara), Jessica Greenberg (Jared), Travis Della Volpe (Daniela), Eric Della Volpe and Meghan Rahner (Raymond); and her great grandchildren, Kora, Ryleigh, Teague, Neave, Avery and Ryan.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Halpin-Bitecola-Brookdale Funeral & Cremation Services (1284 Broad St, Bloomfield, NJ 07003). A Mass will be held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Cassian Church (187 Bellevue Ave, Montclair, NJ 07043). An entombment will be held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 11:15 AM to 11:15 AM at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery (712 Grove St, Montclair, NJ 07043).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to St. Joseph's School for the Blind Adult Program, 761 Summit Avenue, Jersey City.
