We are sad to announce that on August 9, 2023, at the age of 49, James R McBratney of Upper Freehold, New Jersey, born in Elizabeth, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Dawn McBratney; his daughter Alana; his parents, Raymond McBratney and Linda McBratney; his sister Marcy McBratney (Joey Velez); his aunt Karen; his cousins, Kevin Brink (Diana), Michelle Kolbeck (Kevin) and Richie Bachofen; his parents-in-law, Joan Walsh and James Smith Sr.; his siblings-in-law, Jim Smith (Kelly) and Samantha Rivera (Dave); and his pets, Jagger and Rosie. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in James' name to the V Foundation in support of cancer research at www.v.org.
