She is survived by: her husband Joseph Nelson Saunders, Jr.; her siblings, Jimmie Weems, Otis Weems and Clementine Weems; her daughter Vanessa Hamilton; her son-in-law Michael Hamilton; her granddaughter Nicole Michelle Melillo (Michael); her stepgrandson Jayson Hamilton (Emily); her stepson Jacob Hamilton; her goddaughter Jacqueline Blamo Hawthorn; her niece Valerie Weems; her nephews, Dwayne Miller, Jeffery Scott Powell (Bencilla), Steven Weems (Yolanda) and Brian Weems (Collette); and her cousin Robert Lee, Jr. (Spudy). She is also survived by other family members, friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Union Funeral Home-Lytwyn & (1600 Stuyvesant Ave., Union, NJ 07083). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
