He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald McGeeney and Ruth McGeeney; his daughters, Michelle McGeeney and Tiffany Swanson; and his sister Gerre Ann Waterson.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Barbara Klim; his girlfriend's daughters, Christine (John Pitarresi) and Heather (Kenneth Urbano); his sons, Shawn (Angie McGeeney) and Michael A. McGeeney; his grandchildren, Chelsea, Shane, Shannon, Emma, Ryan, Ali, Kyra, John of Kaleigh, KJ, Trafford, Harrison and Darby; his siblings, Patrick, Bob McGeeney, Peggy Strudwick and Sharon McGeeney; and his pet Teddy. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Michael may be made to Atlantic Health Hospice.
