He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonio (Anna Vaz) and Manuel. He is survived by: his wife Maria F. Vaz; his children, Fernando Vaz and Suzanne DeLaPrida; and his grandsons, Nicholas and Marcus DeLaPrida.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Catherine of Siena Church (1000 N Broad St, Hillside, NJ 07205). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 1:45 PM to 2:00 PM at the Fairview Cemetery (1100 E Broad St, Westfield, NJ 07091). A burial was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
