He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Biagia Alaimo and Calogero Alaimo of Palermo; his friends, Mary and Bartholomew DeMato; his brother Tucker; his wife Angela; his children, Lisa Ranucci (Mark) and Christopher (Melissa); his grandchildren, C. J., Francesca, Luke, Max, Charlotte and William; and his siblings, William Demato (Patricia, Louis DeMato), Joseph DeMato (Sharon) and Nancy DeMato. He was also cherished by godchildren, nieces and nephews.
