He is survived by: his daughter Margaret (Peggy); his son-in-law Douglas Donahue; his daughter Susan; his son-in-law Stephen Chinn; his son James; his daughter-in-law Jeanne Scholz; his grandchildren, Michael Chinn (Catie), Nicole Dwyer (Michael), Patrick Scholz and James Scholz; and his great grandchildren, Michael, Jack Dwyer and Ivy Chinn. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
