We bid farewell to Florence Mychajluk (Union, New Jersey), born in Newark, New Jersey, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 5, 2025 at the age of 87. Florence touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her siblings, May, Margie, Kay and Jackie; and her nephew Phillip.
She is survived by: her husband Ostap; her stepchildren, Oksana, Natalka and George; her daughter-in-law Motria; her stepgrandchildren, Joseph, Nicole and George Jr.; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Angelo, Gio, Niko and Viola Rose.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Union Funeral Home - Lytwyn & (1600 Stuyvesant Ave., Union, NJ 07083). A prayer was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church (719 Sanford Ave, Newark, NJ 07106). A burial was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 12:15 PM to 12:30 PM at the St. Andrew Memorial Church (280 Main St, South Bound Brook, NJ 08880).
