He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Grace Haynes; his family, Derek, Jewel, Jody and McLean (Mac); his children, Derek Fenty Dey-El (Crystal), Jody Yearwood (Richard), McLean Fenty (Kiana) and Lawrence Haynes; his grandchildren, Jala Fenty, Lais Fenty, Lerrah Fenty and Richard Yearwood IV; and his siblings, Arthur Fenty (late Enid), Irma Haynes (late Jerry), Beryl Singh (late Hardeo), Colin Fenty (Desiree), Desmond Fenty (Shirley), Audrey McCurchin, Regina Conway (Lionel) and Gordon Fenty (Margaret).
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Union Funeral Home - Lytwyn & (1600 Stuyvesant Ave., Union, NJ 07083). A celebration of life was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Hollywood Cemetery (1621 Stuyvesant Ave., Union, NJ 07083).
