As we bid Delfina farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Delfina is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her mother Carmen Feijoo; her husband Jose Luaces Mosquera; and her father Francisco Mendez. She is survived by: her son Dr. Jose Luis Mosquera (Elaine Martins Mosquera); her grandchildren, Justin Lee Mosquera (Lisa Beth Mosquera), Matthew Joseph Mosquera and Elara Kai Hadjipateras (Peter Hadjipateras); and her great grandchildren, Lea Mariana Mosquera, Molly Elise Mosquera and John Koa Hadjipateras.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 24th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Galante Funeral Home-Union (2800 Morris Ave, Union, NJ 07083). A Mass was held on Friday, October 25th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Church (520 Dr Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Newark, NJ 07102). A burial was held on Friday, October 25th 2024 at the Hollywood Memorial Park (1500 Stuyvesant Ave., Union, NJ 07083).
