Charles J. Benedek Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles J. Benedek (Union, New Jersey), who passed away on January 9, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Charles J. Benedek to pay them a last tribute.
As we bid Charles farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Charles is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his wife Ann; his siblings, Margaret, Joseph and Frankie; and his parents, Joseph Benedek and Mary Benedek.
He is survived by: his daughter Michelle (James Barone); and his granddaughter Mia Annabella. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Galante Funeral Home-Union (2800 Morris Ave, Union, NJ 07083). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 10:15 AM at the St. Michael Church (1212 Kelly St, Union, NJ 07083). A burial was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at the Holy Cross Cemetery (340 Ridge Rd, North Arlington, NJ 07031).
