She was predeceased by: her husband Valentim M. Araujo; and her siblings, Joaquim Castro, Amadeu Castro and Alvarina Araujo. She is survived by: her children, Paula Couto (Agostinho Couto) and Manuel Araujo (Anabela Silva); her siblings, Fernando Castro and Maria Clara Batista (Manuel Batista); her grandchildren, Cristina Froonjian (Daniel Froonjian) and Jason Couto; her great grandchildren, Landon Froonjian and Olivia Froonjian; and her pet Cody. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
