She was predeceased by: her parents, Marie O'Sullivan and Dave Denzler; her son John Higgins; and her son-in-law Mitch Gerrity. She is survived by: her daughter Eileen Higgins; her granddaughters, Jenna Gambuzza and Bernadette Gerrity; her husband Dave; her extended family, O'Sullivan, Boitano-Brindisi and Kelly; and her friends, Margarite Bodga and Barbara Buechse.

In lieu of flowers Maureen would have appreciated a donation to the John P. Higgins Scholarship Fund.
