It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Matthew Jacob Bunce Portillo of Union City, New Jersey, born in Paterson, New Jersey, who passed away on October 25, 2023, at the age of 33, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Theresa M. Bunce; his grandparents, Dorothy M. Bunce, Lawrence F. Bunce and Margarita Portillo; and his aunt Donna M. Bunce-Aly.
He is survived by: his father Javier Portillo; his brothers, Michael Portillo and Vincent Pikunic; his grandfather Ricardo Portillo (Livida); and his aunts and uncles, Kathy Bunce (George Pantozzi), Elaine Rac, Diane Boland (Daniel), Michele Cozzi, Anne-Marie Gagliano (James), Ronald Portillo, Richard Portillo, Randy Portillo and Daysi Guardado. He is also survived by his family and friends.
