It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leonello Fortunato Aquino of Union City, New Jersey, who passed away on January 15, 2025, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Pasquale Aquino and Maria Aquino; his aunt Carmela Iannaccone of Italy; and his brother-in-law John Mark Cortazzo of Montvale. He is survived by: his sisters, Geraldine, Milena Aquino of Union City, NJ and Patrizia Cortazzo of Montvale, NJ; his niece Gianna Cortazzo; and his godson Anthony Cortazzo of Montvale.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Leber Funeral Home (1245 Paterson Plank Rd, Secaucus, NJ 07094). A prayer will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Our Lady of Mercy Roman Catholic Church (2 Fremont Ave, Park Ridge, NJ 07656).
