He was predeceased by: his parents, John Mangiante and Josephine Mangiante; his wife Frances; his son John Mark; his siblings-in-law, Carmela Nucci (Michael) and Dominic Izzo (Joan); and also Thomas.

He is survived by: his daughter Patricia (Raymond Thomas); his grandsons, Raymond and Zachary; his daughter-in-law Nancy Callahan (John Davis); his brother David (Midy); his niece Nancy Williams; his nephew Jack Mangiante (Nancy); his children, Amanda Williams, Katherine and Michael Mangiante; his nephew Steven Izzo (Mary); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Shannon, Cassandra and Danielle.
