He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorcina Darius and Louis Viau; his wife Edwine Viau; his sister Marie Therese St. Come; and his daughter Helen Viau.
He is survived by: his siblings, Roland, Edouard, Evelyne, Marie Lourdes (Claude Gesse) and Violette; his children, Marie Lourdes, Frances (Adam Pliss), Charlie, Florence (James Herrington) and Mireille (Michael Verna); and his grandchildren, Xena, Anne Elizabeth and Didi. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and cherished friends.
