She was predeceased by: her husband Lawrence F. Bunce; her daughter Donna Bunce-Aly; her grandson Robert Cozzi Jr.; and her siblings, William Bodtmann, Jr., Richard Bodtmann, Jeanne Bodtmann and Edward Bodtmann.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kathleen Bunce (George Pantozzi), Elaine Rac (Richard Rafferty), Diane Boland (Daniel), Michele Cozzi, Theresa Bunce and Anne-Marie Gagliano (James); her son-in-law Essam Aly; her siblings, Margaret Patten, Ruth Baitala (Peter), Robert Bodtmann, Carole Porto (Thomas), Barbara Acosta, Susan Pycik (George) and Marie Disbrow (Andrew); and her sister-in-law Dorothy Bodtmann. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, gifts in memory of Mrs. Dorothy Bunce may be directed to support the Hackerman-Patz Pavillion at the Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center.
