He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Rafferty and Ellen Rafferty (McKenna); his grandson Detective Corporal Timothy Kelly; and his wife Mary Rafferty (O'Donnell). He is survived by: his daughters, Carol Anne Bouchard (Francis) of Washington, D. C., Karen Kelly (Timothy) of Belford and Pauline Goebel (Glenn) of New Egypt; his siblings, Patricia Fitzsimons, Thomas Rafferty (Kathleen) and Andrew Rafferty (Helen); his grandchildren, Lauren Bryant (Robert), Karli Goebel, Shawn Cahill, Lindsay Bouchard, Jennifer Reed (Aaron), Ryan Kelly and Colin Bouchard; and his great grandchildren, Leila Bryant, Claire Bryant, Anna Bryant, Troy Brant, Liam Reed, Nolan Reed and Lennox Cahill.
