He was predeceased by: his parents, Catherine Dierks (Rears) and John Dierks; his wife Elizabeth; and his siblings, Harry, Rosemarie Sacharanski and Laverne Dierks.
He is survived by: his daughter Patricia (Jack Wegman Jr.); his stepchildren, Joanne Verrone, Charles Strang and Peter Strang; and his grandchildren, Catherine Wegman and Jack Wegman III.
